It was actually a pretty simple piece, even you can play it without fancy position (at least for the first part). I even have the score and play it occasionally. But just how that simple piece become so wonderful…ask Mr Bell and his Stradivari. Maybe it was the violin, but I believe big parts of it are his very long left fingers, his so-relaxed right hand but able to perfectly position the bow (how can he do that? hiks), and the feelings he put in the music. On top of it, there’s Schubert’s brilliance.
The performance is just angelic. God is indeed good and wonderful.
