from goal.com ~ i love the cynicism
Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet saw fit to apologise to Ireland for the officials part in the shocking controversy:
“There are approximately 80 million Irishmen around the world. We guarantee they all feel pretty bad today. But I sincerely hope there are three Swedes that feel even worse. They are Martin Hansson and [referee's assistants] Stefan Wittberg and Fredrik Nilsson. There will be no World Cup for Ireland and I assume that Team Hansson has also forfeited its right to continue to take charge of major international matches.” Do IKEA sell spectacles? I guess not.

Somehow it occurs to me that, the most blind love of all probably is the love of a guy to his football club.
.
He would stay until way past midnight to just get a glimpse of how’s the match going even though he has to wake up early for work on the next day.
He would ignore his spouse’s complaints about why they never spend time together again on weekend nights.
He would still cheer for his club even though they’ve lost a lot.
He would curse the opponent players who cause them a penalty, regardless it is fair or not.
He would blame everything other than his club if they concede.
Most probably, he will not change his number one club.
.
Even though the club never know who he is.
hix
Maybe I’m considered lucky cos I got the chance to see him in one of his last matches in Reds.
awesome!
Masih euforia nih pasca semalem gue nonton Liverpool – Singapore. Masih kebayang pemain-pemain dari klub yang gue cintai main di depan mata gue (oke meskipun kecil banget kadang2 mesti liat pake zoom kamera biar jelas..lol). Masih berasa getaran ketika semua orang menghentakkan kaki menjelang wave. Masih kebayang ketika (akhirnya) gue bisa nyanyi ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ di stadion beneran bareng orang-orang yang juga mencintai klub ini. Masih keinget saat kita semua rame-rame ngata-ngatain orang aneh yang masuk stadion pake baju emyu -.-” (cari mati bener tu orang. Banyak gaya pula.) Oh dan of course, masih inget rasanya minum bir di dalem stadion. Wah berasa yoi banget deh
Match nya pertama-tama sih lumayan boring, to be honest. Mungkin seperti kata Irving, kalo nonton di tv bisa uda hampir tidur kali (meskipun kalo liverpool pasti gue tahan-tahan lah
). Mungkin juga gara-gara Liverpool make squad kelas dua dulu. Cuma Carra yang main dari menit pertama. Atau mungkin mereka simply belom panas. Abis halftime, baru deh pemain-pemain top keluar. Dan mulai deh banyak passing-passing cantik, apalagi pas Xabi akhirnya main
(oh please please please don’t let him leave…we love him!)
Intinya, it was a great night. Thank you God for letting me experience all these. Thank you to my sunshine who bought me the ticket
. Thanks to my friends who were watching with me. Thanks for a stadion full of supporters (the waves were fantastic!). Thanks to Liverpool Football Club who is so kind to travel all the way to South East Asia give us this wonderful experience.

Trima kasih Tuhan Kau ingatkan kami
.
So this is the end of Chelsea’s journey in Champions League 2008/2009. So happy
)
1-3
Liverpool kalah. Hiks. Khawatir banget. Sampe lemes begitu udah kalah (dan nggak kuat bangun pas uda mau brangkat pemilu). Hhh yah emang bukan giliran kita lah. Ivanovic brilian skali. Damn. Gotta score 3 and don’t let them pass.
deja vu? :p
Hari ini Liverpool main lagi.
Sama kayak 3 hari yang lalu:
Again, gue nonton di hall 13 lounge 64
Again, cewek yang nonton cuma gue (treakan gue paling high-pitch gitu
)
Again, Liverpool cetak 4 gol
Again, Dossena jadi pelengkap penderita
Again, gue feel pity sama salah seorang pemain lawan (in this case it was Rooney)
.
Berarti kalo mau nonton Liverpool lagi mesti disitu deh
minute 82
It’s been a while since my last time I watched football match. In fact, my last post about this dated Oct 26, 2008. So thank God for recess, at least it freed me from guilty feeling of staying up till 7 am
. Yesterday I watched Inter vs MU with some friends in TV lounge. Yes I watched with friends. Finally I did something social
But today, there will be two big matches at the same time (at first we thought it will be one match after another, so we still can watch together) and some guys are just Juve lovers. Wew what can I do then? Of course I HAVE TO watch Real Madrid – Liverpool. So I was back to my ansos state, watching the match from TVU (oh how I love this programme!
).
And I can’t really decide which team I support. Well of course Liverpool, but Real Madrid was my favorite team. And I love Iker Casillas since junior high. I want him to make a clean sheet. So I was hoping for 0-0. However, it would be a good result for Liverpool since they played away.
The final score is Real Madrid 0 – 1 Liverpool. Wow. I’m kinda surprised. Because at the beginning, it was Real who dominated the match. Maybe because the Reds’ captain was not on the lineup. Liverpool catched up, and the game became quite even, with a little bit on Real’s side. They won more battles of midfield. Both the goalkeepers were good, they made critical saves. Well not much, because the shots were quite few also.
Just 10 mins before final whistle, when I thought they would just play it 0-0, there it was. The freekick and the goal that made it 0-1 for Liverpool. The goal that gave the fans the courage to sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” in Santiago Bernabeu. Thanks to Yossi Benayoun
I can say it’s a fair result, but yes Liverpool had a better luck this time. This result is extremely good because next match at anfield, Liverpool will need only a draw to secure their next stage.
Match stats:
| Real Madrid | Liverpool | |
| 0 | Goals scored | 1 |
| 5 | Shots on target | 4 |
| 8 | Shots wide | 3 |
| 0 | Shots blocked | 2 |
| 2 | Yellow card | 3 |
| 0 | Red card | 0 |
| 13 | Fouls committed | 19 |
| 7 | Corners | 1 |
| 2 | Offsides | 3 |
| 31′ 55” | Ball. Poss. (time) | 24′ 18” |
| 56% | Ball. Poss. (%) | 44% |

akhirnya bisa nonton liverpool lagi :)
I’m so excited!! I haven’t seen LFC for eons and now finally I can watch their match against Chelsh**. Thank you tvu! ^^ I didn’t expect that the streaming will work, but thank God it works smoothly
It’s an away match for them, so logically it’s not an easy game to gain 3 points.
You’re in my prayers, boys. Just do the best. Play with your heart.
And you’ll never walk alone
…
90 mins passed
and they won 1-0 by Xabi’s goal.
breaking Chelsea’s unbeatable (EPL) record at Stamford Bridge for more than 4 years.
just like the commentator said:
Liverpool had been solid. with the capital S
Well done Rafa & Stevie G!!
so happy
how you’re doing, Liverpool?
Sekarang?
Ya ampun, gue bahkan tahu berita mereka menang dari MU setelah hampir sehari setelahnya. Dan ketika gue baca reviewnya, gue bahkan nggak tahu beberapa nama yang jadi starting line-up (pemain-pemain baru gitu). Liga Champions uda sampe mana juga gue nggak tahu. Astaga.
Tapi ya mau gimana. Urusan diri sendiri aja nggak kelar-kelar.
.
Year dua memang bikin gila.
